Location: Edmonton or Calgary

You’re the type of person who likes to look at life from all angles. While things might seem pretty black and white at first glance, you understand the importance of checking out the grey areas as well. It’s why everyone wants to have you on their team because they know you’ll always play fair. And that’s exactly the type of person we’re looking for.

WHAT MOVES YOU

  • You believe integrity is everything and make it a priority to always “walk the talk", both in your professional and personal lives.
  • You can prioritize, plan and organize as naturally as breathing.
  • You keep a clear mind and make a point of exploring all sides of the issue when faced with a decision.
  • You not only have a way with people, you also have a way with words – verbal and written.
  • You have an eagle eye for detail.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Report to the Claims Supervisor.
  • Investigate, negotiate and settle Accident Benefits insurance claims via face-to face or telephone investigation and conciliation.
  • Adhere to claims handling practices in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure claims handling practices adhere to legislative and regulatory requirements.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

  • You have a grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of one year in Accident Benefit experience or equivalent medical industry experience
  • You are working towards your CIP designation from the Insurance Institute of Canada.

WHAT YOU'LL GET

  • Competitive salary.
  • Flexible benefits.
  • Outstanding Retirement Savings Program.
  • Great AMA discounts.
  • Unlimited learning opportunities.
  • Paid vacation and "ME" day.

We thak all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
