WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Report to the Supervisor, Billing.
  • Provide service to Insurance Agency on billing related matters.
  • Provide service to insurance customers on payment and billing related matters.
  • Responsible for the calculation, preparation and issue of billing documents.
  • Process and review payments, cancellations, cash reversals, and related tasks for accuracy.
  • Ensure information adheres to corporate policies and procedures.
  • Respond to internal staff inquiries, maintain good relations and solve problems.
  • Produce accurate financial reports and operational information; when asked, develop, produce and maintain ad hoc and custom reports.
  • Perform related clerical duties, such as word processing, maintaining filing and record systems, faxing and photocopying. 

WHAT YOU’VE DONE

  • You have a high school diploma and post-secondary education in accounting. If your education is in something else, tell us how it will benefit you in this role.
  • You have a minimum of one year of accounting experience.
  • You're a wiz with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • You are computer literate with a demonstrated ability to adapt to new systems.
  • You have working knowledge of related computerized accounting systems.
